Book Fair
Twice a year (typically October and March) we hold a Little Shop of Stories book fair. Little Shop selects a collection of books for purchase at the WP library. Children and families have several opportunities to peruse the books during, before and after school with a portion of the sales going to the WP Library Fund. Volunteers are needed during the fair to help the students fill out wish lists, ring up sales, and set up/take down the fair. Contact:

Grants Committee
Each year, the WP PTA provides grants to teachers and parents for school and classroom improvements or programs. The Grants Committee reviews and recommends the funding requests from WPES teachers, staff and families to enhance the Winnona Park educational mission and learning environment  Historically, the grants committee has held a fall and spring application cycle to consider grant applications, and would then present recommendations to the PTA board for review.  The Grants Committee supports innovation and meaningful educational endeavors within the WPES community.
